The 6th China Construction Enterprises Submit Forum was held in Beijing from 21 February to 22 February 2009. The chief engineer of Construction Ministry Mr. Wang Tiehong, the chief officers of relevant departments and bureaus and more than 150 managers from construction companies at national and provincial level attended the conference. The president and general manager of ACEG Mr. Hu Yuncheng attended the conference upon invitation as host and also gave a keynote speech.
The aim of this Submit Forum is to listen to the voices in the forefront of construction enterprises and advance the innovation of policy in construction industry. The forum centered on the topics such as “how China construction industry confronts with the increasingly worse financial crisis and find new economic growth points and finally realize the sustainable development against the background of global financial crisis”, “from the aspects of the construction quality and safety, further discussion on the lowest price bidding and the way of project subcontracting, construction qualification and innovation of management methods”.
Mr.Hu Yuncheng hosted the conference on 21 February 2009 and made a speech named “reflecting the crisis, leaping over the ‘cold winter’ and seeking new development”. This speech drew loud applause and found echo from the audience due to the unique outlook and insightful ideas.
