The first Sino-Nigerian National Day Chorus Competition staged at the great hall of the GGSS DUTSE School on September 12, in Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria; this cultural exchange event was co-sponsored by Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria, the Cultural Office of Chinese Embassy in Nigeria, Abuja Education Committee and nine influential Chinese enterprises in Nigeria. ACEG Nigerian Branch – Anhui Construction Engineering Group (Nigeria) Co., Ltd. has participated in this activity.
Anhui Construction Engineering Group (Nigeria) Co., Ltd actively contacted Wuse Middle School - the school it paired off for communication and invited 30 students to learn to sing the Chinese folk song Jasmine Flower to help them understand and experience Chinese traditional culture and promote local people`s awareness and love of Chinese culture.
In the process of this four-day activity, the song - Jasmine Flower, has been heard in Abuja, it was something like a symbol that the traditional Chinese culture has taken root in the soil in Nigeria, and moreover, Anhui Construction Engineering Group (Nigeria) Co., Ltd gave the students schoolbags, books and other school things that won praises from the local people, and the brand ACEG has spread further as well.
